Tender is an arts charity working with young people to prevent domestic abuse and sexual violence through creative projects. 

Let Me Know is an education charity working with young people to prevent domestic violence, relationship abuse and sexual assault. 

School of Sexuality Education provides in-school workshops on consent, sexual health, porn and positive relationships.  

Support and guidance for staff 

The NSPCC provides guidance and support on issues affecting children. If you are worried about a child you can contact them via their helpline or by email. 

Refuge runs the National Domestic Violence Helpline. You can contact them for free and in confidence 24/7 via phone or live chat.  

Relate offers counselling services for every type of relationship nationwide. You can find your nearest centre via their website. 

Support for Black and minoritised women 

IMKAAN is a UK-based Black feminist organisation dedicated to addressing violence against Black and minoritised women. They are not a direct service provider but you can find a list of specialist organisations here. 

Ashiana Network supports South Asian, Turkish and Iranian women. 

IMECE supports BAMER and, particularly, Turkish, Kurdish and Turkish Cypriot women. 

Jewish Women’s Aid support Jewish women affected by domestic and/or sexual violence.

Latin American Women’s Rights Service (LAWRS) supports Latin American migrant women living in the UK.

London Black Women’s Project is a specialist organisation for BME women and girls. 

FORWARD provides support to African women and girls. 

Support for children 

Childline is a free, private and confidential service for anyone under the age of 19 in need of support – provided by phone, email or online chat

Support for LGBTQIA+ young people 

Galop works with and for LGBT+ victims and survivors of abuse and violence in the UK. 

Mermaids supports gender-diverse children, young people and their families. 

Switchboard provides a one-stop listening shop for LGBT+ people on the phone, by email and through instant messaging. 

Support for male survivors 

Survivors UK provides support for any man, boy or non-binary person who has ever experienced unwanted sexual activity. 

Support for parents and carers

MOSAC provides support for non-abusing parents and carers of children who have been sexually abused.

Gingerbread provides single parents with advice and practical support. 

Parentkind are a voice for parents in education and the membership association for school PTAs. 

Support for survivors of sexual violence 

Rape Crisis provides specialist information and support to all those affected by rape, sexual assault, sexual harassment and all other forms of sexual violence and abuse in England and Wales. If you need support after sexual violence or abuse you can contact their 24/7 support line by phone or online chat. 

London Survivors Gateway offers victims and survivors of rape and sexual abuse support to access specialist services in London. 

Sexual Assault Referral Centres (SARCs) offer medical, practical and emotional support to people who have recently been raped or sexually assaulted. You can find your nearest SARC via the NHS service finder. 

Support for victims of grooming and online abuse

The Child Exploitation and Online Protection Command (CEOP) is part of the National Crime Agency. If you are concerned a child is being groomed online you can make a report via their website

The Revenge Porn Helpline supports all adult victims of intimate image abuse living in the UK.  

Support for victims of stalking

The National Stalking Helpline gives practical information, support and advice to victims of stalking. 

Support for young people causing harm

Respect leads on the development of safe, effective work with perpetrators, male victims, and young people using violence in their close relationships. 

Mental health support for young people 

YoungMinds are a mental health charity for children, young people and their parents, and for people who work with young people. Young people can use the Shout Textline for free, 24-hour mental health support. 

The Mix provides free, confidential support for young people under 25 via online, social and mobile. 

Papyrus is a charity for the prevention of young suicide (under 35) in the UK. Young people can contact their hopeline via phone, text or email. 

Harmful practices

The NSPCC runs the FGM helpline for anyone who if worried a child is at risk of or has already had FGM. 

Karma Nirvana runs the national Honour Based Abuse Helpline and provides training to professionals. 

Legal advice

Rights of Women provide free and confidential legal advice covering family law, criminal law, immigration and asylum law, and sexual harassment. Details of their advice lines can be found on their website.
